Diligence social event

Roles4Goals (R4G) has the ultimate aim of ensuring there is an answer to the shortage of labour across many industries.  We help business promote opportunities to attract a local workforce by working closer with their community through the world of sport.

Allowable expenses means it is sustainable, cost effective and a powerful way to evidence your people first values.

Proudly endorsed by Dartford FC - See 4Roles4Goals on Dartford FC website

On 23 April 2021, co-founder of 4Roles4Goals Alan Dean passed away suddenly.

Nicola and Alan's PA, Jenny, have committed to ensure that Roles4Goals continues in memory of Alan, we have the blessing of Alan's family.

We have an initiative to ensure Business, Education, Careers and Confidence (4 Goals) are connected in one innovative setting to benefit our partnership Business's Roles.

We gain corporate social responsibility funds from businesses to be able to Sponsor a Match Day with our sporting partners.  The attendees as Match Day Sponsors are the Roles4Goals Junior Press Team who are finding out about business through a completely different arena!

The day is full of fun for these Young People as VIPs, learning by stealth and being part of a very different way to see how businesses operate – that it isn’t just about a match day, they interview business people and this is very motivating!

After the event, they write a report about the day and we collate them into a publication that showcases the 4 roles of the day:

Each Young Person

The Sponsoring Company

The Education Providers (School, College, University, Youth Group or any other connection)

The Venue & Club (our Community)

All get maximum promotion, before, during and after the day, but also get hard copies and links to the Junior Press Team report – this output is evidence of Real World Work Experience for each of the above stakeholders and of course, enables the Young People to take something different to an interview, businesses to add the report to their tenders and CSR proof and for the sports venue to promote more within their community, potentially gaining more local supporters for the club!

A by-product has been the continued connections enabling offers of work experience, apprenticeships, even job offers and most importantly confidence for the participants to promote themselves in the appropriate business way!

Keeping in touch is important for those who need it and therefore the support doesn’t finish at the end of the day.

The scheme is bespoke for so many different collections of participants including unemployed, ex-military, career changers/returners and even forms a team building opportunity for organisations.

4Roles4Goals were successful during their pilot programme and has considerable interest now that the restrictions from Covid are lifting.

Businesses are seeing the benefit of sponsorship and encouraging people to find out about their industries, but with such a scheme being promotion and marketing - the cost of the 4Roles4Goals event can be fully offset as allowable expenses!
