Nicola Coppen - Managing director

& Specialist infrastructure consultant

On 5 May 2022, Nicola become a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Constructors (WCC), the 99th Livery Company of the City of London.

This Livery Company prides itself on being the only Company to have members join by invitation, as opposed to applying for membership directly.

Nicola is already working in areas of the Climate Action Committee and is looking to help with Scholarships, Mentoring and the newly formed 'Constructing Our Future' charity of the WCC.

If you want an experienced, Specialist Infrastructure Project Manager, in Electricity, Potable Water, Waste Water, Waste Management and the numerous connections therein, look no further than Nicola.

Her experience led to the development of the Electricity Business Case for Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, enabling Central Government to invest in core, primary infrastructure - a  first for the UK Government.

In May 2020, Nicola was appointed the first Infrastructure Coordinator, being placed at Westminster City Council, as part of the Greater London Authority & Mayor of London's pilot for better coordination of development works throughout London.

Other interesting points:

1. Nicola proudly met with the previous Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government (the late Rt. Hon James Brokenshire, pictured) at the Palace of Westminster to discuss her direct experience in Infrastructure, Utilities, Construction and highlighting the Challenges of these Sectors.

To get to this means Nicola is a proven Senior Project Manager, now a Senior Consultant, & respected as a leader in her field.

2. She has spoken in the House of Lords, at various Construction Events & even to Degree Students in the Faculty of Engineering & Science at University of Greenwich

From pre-Project (Project Briefs, Business Cases & Evaluation) & into and through the whole life Project Cycle (Feasibility, Construction, Completion & Handover), her Private & Public Sector experience including Government has been varied & well documented.
