What did Diligence contribute to this project?
Diligence was instrumental in the production of a robust Business Case for electricity provision for the Ebbsfleet Garden City, which is an initiative needed to unlock land for development.

Diligence Background: First hearing about the regeneration in north Kent a year prior, our interest was connected to the childhood home county our people. Dartford, Gravesend and the surrounding areas were thriving market towns, 'cut aside' from the rest of Kent via the High Speed 1 (HS1) link. Listening to Jeremy Kite (Dartford BC Council Leader) at a South East London Chamber of Commerce event and then Paul Spooner (Interim CEO ) of Ebbsfleet DC really sparked our interest. Meeting Paul at Buckmore Park through the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, B2B event, this was now never - a chance to put Diligence to the most exciting regenerateation project for over a century - a Garden City.A meeting and presentation, expression of interest and a couple of interviews and we were given the chance to shine! NOTE: Nicola made an impression as a Consultant Project Manager and ended up applying for and being offered the permanent Infrastructure and Utilities Project Manager role from June 2017 through to November 2019. During this time, Diligence was 'dormant' to prevent issues with Conflict Of Interest and employment complications. Resigning due to relocation in November 2019, Nicola is now back to Diligence full time and has some exciting projects commencing in January 2020.
